Trofos Care Founders were born and raised in Athens but only met in New York many years later. Creativity met reasoning and “Trofos” was launched.
Eugenia Parissi is an entrepreneur informed by a solid legal and financial background. She earned her law degree at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, her Masters (L.LM) at King’s College, University of London and her Post-graduate degree in Economics at Birkbeck College, University of London. The last 10 years, she has been working as an Equity Research Analyst at TIAA, an $800b pension fund. She left Corporate America in search of a better balance in life and ultimately deeper meaning.
Maria Vlachou holds a BA in History and Art History from Complutense University in Madrid and an MFA from Columbia University. She is a visual artist, making videos and photographs. Her art works are being exhibited nationally and internationally.
Boston
Zoe Sofiadou is our new Greater Boston Area Manager. Zoe is no stranger to Trofos. She used to be one of our Greek tutors in NJ who recently moved to Massachusetts.
Zoe is originally from Larisa, Greece. She moved to Austin, TX in 1997 with her husband. She earned her Travel and Tourism certification and Spanish proficiency while working at a leading travel agency specializing in Greek tours. In 2001, she relocated to NJ and has been a stay at home mom nurturing her two sons ever since. The past few years she has been working as a Greek elementary school teacher (Holy Trinity, Westfield NJ and St. Anna, Flemington NJ) and has developed a curriculum for adult classes (St. Anna). She has also tutored high school students and prepared them for their proficiency in Greek (Ellinomatheia). She lives in Harvard, MA with her husband and their two children.
